At Mission Painting, we wake up every day ready for two things: pursuing excellence and glorifying God. We bring you today’s post to focus on the former. On a day-to-day level, pursuing excellence obviously looks like doing our job and doing it well. Our guarantee is that we leave your property better than when we found it. But in the greater picture of our business, we want to pursue excellence as a means to something bigger. This means taking advantage of opportunities like the Painting Contractors Association EXPO 2020 Conference.
The event takes place from February 19-21 in Phoenix-Glendale, Arizona and we Kansas Citians are READY for some warm weather for a few days. But the temperature isn’t all that’s heating up at Mission Painting. We are moving into this decade with a full head of steam. The Painting Contractors Association (PCA) provides a plethora of industry-leading resources on their website. Check it out today! They’re a great example of an organization we joined in an effort to serve you better.
Key Conference Takeaways
Without a doubt, we will follow up with some of our specific takeaways from the conference. But here is a list, according to a recent PCA blog post, that gives an idea of what we’ll be gleaning from this week:
-
Asking Top Industry Questions
Google can only get you so far. Throughout the year, when we have questions about industry trends and updates, we look forward to a conference like this where we’re surrounded by the best in business.
-
Conference Networking Events
We love connecting with other industry experts at the PCA EXPO. Not only is it good to grow with other businesses across the country – it also means painting connections we can direct you to if you ever move to another city!
-
Trade Show Tips
On the EXPO’s second day, we spend quality time at their trade show with 60+ experts to interact with new technology, supplies and equipment. Every minute of this experience is to pour back into Mission Painting and customers like you.
-
Golfin’ Around Glendale
Alright . . . So what if the conference doesn’t put this one on? We can still enjoy a couple rounds of golf in the Arizona sun! In all seriousness, fun activities like this with our employees is one more reason we love the PCA EXPO. It allows us time to step away as a team, regroup for 2020 and beyond, then come back to hit the ground running in March.
After all, Kansas City has its bout of great weather just around the corner. And when it comes, Mission Painting will climb the latter and get back to what we know best: Serving our city. Loving our neighbor.
